IPL 2022: Royal Challengers Bangalore have signed uncapped Afghanistan spinner Izharulhaq Naveed as a net bowler for the next season. The youngster was part of Afghanistan’s squad in the ICC Under-19 World Cup earlier this year.
He brought the best out of himself in the marquee event where he took six wickets from 4 games. Moreover, he had a superb economy of 3.63 where he kept the batters in check with good deliveries.
RCB will be expecting the youngster to do well in the nets. At the same time, it will be a huge learning experience for him as he will bowl to the likes of big guns like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell and others.
The 18-year-old youngster took to social media and posted a pic of himself wearing the RCB kit. He will be looking to give everything for the franchise. If he performs well, he is destined for greatness as he might earn a lucrative contract just like his seniors.
