In the above video, Asghar Afghan takes the run-up to bowl his first delivery in the UAE Friendship Cup. However, things do not go well thereafter for Asghar Afghan.
The former Afghanistan all rounder’s ankle gets massively twisted while landing on the crease. He then falls off and lies down in deep pain while catching his leg.
The physio rushes to the field after which Asghar Afghan is declared as match unfit. Asghar Afghan is forced to walk out after bowling zero Bowles against the India Legends team.
This must have been a massive setback for Asghar Afghan as he was excited to take part in the ongoing tournament. But it is to be seen if the former Afghanistan international recovers well in time for the remaining matches.
UAE Friendship Cup: World Legends 11 beat India Legends
World 11 Legends won the toss and they went on to have a bat first. The decision worked in the favour of World 11 Legends as India Legends were not very impressive with the ball.
They went on to put a massive total of 139 runs with a loss of three wickets. This was achieved in ten overs in the cricket game.
The India Legends team lost consecutive wickets in regular intervals. As a result of the flop show, India Legends could put up only 66 runs with a loss of four wickets in the 10 overs.
