Michael Bisping expressed his love and respect for the Diaz brothers recently on his youtube channel. As he went on to say that the Diaz brothers deserve the similar kind of respect fight netizens give to GSP or Anderson
“Those two brothers deserve the same kind of respect as well. They have been around the sports for years. They have provided endless action for us.”
Michael explained how Nate wanted to fight Vincent Luque and Khamzat Chimaev when everyone was ducking them. He believes this attitude is the reason Diaz brothers should be respected for.
Bisping further shared his views on the future of Diaz in the promotion. He believes Nate should fight Vincent in his next fight. “Nate Diaz vs Vincent Luque, sign me the F*** up“: said Bisping.
Not long ago, Nate took Twitter to write that everyone is scared of him. To which Luque’s manager Ali Abdelaziz responded saying Luque is ready for him.
Also, Luque recently expressed that he is already preparing for Nate:
“Nate seems to be in as well, at least he said that on Twitter, so, to me, it’s a deal. Just give me the date, I’m already training for it. I’ll be prepared.”
With both the fighters prepared to fight. It’s just about UFC matchmakers to decide if they are willing to give them that.
Will Vincent Luque get the title fight if he beats Nate Diaz?
Not many know that Vincent Luque was actually the backup fighter for UFC 268 main event. In case any of Colby or Kamaru would have missed weight, Luque was going to fill in.
Also, he has won 10 of his last 11 fights. In which he has also defeated former champion Woodley. So, it is a valid question that if Luque defeats Diaz, will he get a title shot?
Now, with Leon and Khamzat on the line for the contendership. The only way Vincent will have that opportunity is by beating Nate in style. An early finish can ring the bell in matchmakers’ heads.
